Pacific Coast Distributors is a mid-sized wholesale distributor serving over 2,000 retail customers across the western United States. With a catalog of 15,000 SKUs and growing order volumes, their manual warehouse processes were creating bottlenecks.
The company implemented GURU's WMS – Wholesale & Distribution Center module along with the integrated order management system. The implementation took 8 weeks from kickoff to go-live, including data migration, staff training, and parallel running.
The results exceeded expectations. Order processing time dropped from 4.5 hours to 1.8 hours per batch. Picking accuracy improved from 96.2% to 99.8%. And the team was able to handle Black Friday volumes — traditionally their biggest challenge — with existing staff.
Looking ahead, Pacific Coast plans to add GURU's Logistics & Fleet Management module to optimize their delivery routes and provide customers with real-time delivery tracking.
