Public Bank Vietnam Limited is a 100% foreign capital bank owned by Malaysia Public Bank (A private bank operates most effectively in Malaysia). Public Bank Vietnam Limited was transformed from VID Public Joint Venture Bank - one of the first joint venture banks in Vietnam, was established on 30 September 1991 with a 50:50 share capital ratio between Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Malaysia Public Bank.
