J.L. Powell & Associates, Inc. is a boiler and water heater equipment company based in Houston, Texas. The company says it was started in 1966, and from the beginning aimed to be Houston's authority on boilers, water heaters and related equipment.

Founder Jim Powell passed away in 2001 after a 54 year career in the HVAC business, and the company is now owned and operated by Bill and Pat P.. In 2008, after 38 years on Heffernan Street in southeast Houston, it bought a building across Highway 3 from Ellington Air Field.

Its lines include conventional firetube steam and hot water boilers, condensing hot water boilers, vertical steam boilers, clean steam generators and electric boilers.
